Title of Talk:
Flink Everything

Abstract:
In our transition to utilizing Flink as a stream processing tool, we encountered numerous challenges, some of which were unforeseen. This presentation aims to guide you through our experiences with Flink, highlighting both the anticipated and unexpected obstacles in client adoption and implementation. By sharing our insights, we hope to equip you with the knowledge necessary to successfully adopt Flink in your own projects

Bio:
Rui Grafino – Head DevOps
Background: Worked Several years in the Telco industry, playing different roles in Operations, doing Observability and maintenance of critical production payments systems.
Also was a Database Administrator in a production RDBMS with thousands of simultaneous users and processes running.
More recently in DevOps and Data Platform engineering roles

Ricardo Cordeiro – Core Technologist
Background: Worked as a Software and Database Developer, and more recently on Data Platforms and Data engineering roles.
