Immerse yourself in the heart of Lisbon with the Chiado walking tour plus coffee, please see below.

In this walking tour we will see different architecture styles in Lisbon and know some of the artists who lived and worked in the area. We will see the links between the history of Lisbon and Portugal’s cultural identity through some art creations and the sense of humour of one important artist of the 19th century.

We will discover some gems from the 14th century, highlight the national monuments in this neighbourhood and understand the importance of Chiado for Lisbon and Portugal.

A good opportunity for all art enthusiasts to know better the city of Lisbon through the eyes of Portuguese artists from different centuries.

Your guide is Lúcia Fragoso. She is Portuguese and her love for Lisbon comes from growing up in the area and living here most of her life. Her deep knowledge of Lisbon's history, architecture, art, and changes over time inspired her to create a walking tour in the neighbourhood of Chiado.

This walking tour starts at Praça Restauradores and finishes at Praça de Camões, in Chiado. At the end, let me offer you a coffee at the Kiosk and answer your Chiado and Lisbon's questions!
