Welcome to the Lisbon Artificial Intelligence (AI) Meetup Group!
Our group is dedicated to uncovering the potential of Artificial Intelligence and its impact on our world.
We bring together like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds, beginners to experts, to share their ideas, knowledge and experiences in a relaxed, fun and inclusive environment, regardless of technical knowledge.
Our meetups may include a mix of interactive discussions, presentations and networking opportunities for those curious about AI. Whether you're a student, a professional, or just someone who is fascinated by AI, this group is for you.
Our meetups will be an opportunity to discover the possibilities of AI. For example, how to harness it ourselves for productivity, efficiency, and decision-making, how it will change jobs and industries, and its mind-blowing implications for our future, all while having fun and building connections with others who share your interests.
We welcome everyone interested in the topic, regardless of their background or level of technical knowledge and encourage a sense of being in this together. AI will be a tool for all, so we want to make sure that everyone feels a sense of belonging in our community.
From interactive icebreakers and games to exploring possible practical applications of AI, and of course, eating pizza, our meetups are designed to be a shared experience where everyone can come together and enjoy learning about AI.

P.S. We want to create a welcoming environment for everyone in our international group, so to make sure that everyone can participate and understand what's going on, we'll be using English as our main language during presentations and activities. But feel free to speak your native language while chatting with other members. Just keep in mind that there might be non-native speakers who would like to join in, so help us make sure everyone feels included and comfortable while connecting with others.
Also, when it comes to food, we like to keep things simple and enjoyable. We will have some pizza available for everyone to enjoy, but we kindly ask for a donation of 5 euros per person at the door to cover the cost. However, if you prefer to bring your own food or snacks, that's totally fine too! We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy the meetup, so please feel free to bring whatever you like to eat.
