Looking to enjoy some local vibes with some new faces? Join us at the VIII Latin America Market on the 27th of September!
Whether you want to indulge in the markets, kick back with some good food and drinks, or simply socialise in an interesting venue, we have just the crowd for you to enjoy your time with. As a community made of expats, locals, and tourists, we have no doubt that we’re just as eager to explore this incredible event as you are. We look forward to meeting you!
We’ll be present from 17h00. Come solo or bring a friend. This meetup is queer friendly; everyone is welcome here.
Venue: FIARTIL
How to find us: You can find us at the entrance near the payment booth, where we’ll be waiting until 17h15. Should you arrive late, you can find us inside in the middle stretch of the venue, typically at a larger table near the bathrooms.
About the venue: The FIARTIL is an Estoril landmark immersed in nature, most often used for various initiatives and events, the most notable of which is the Estoril Craft Fair, which recently took place from the 27th of June until the 24th of August.
About the event: The VIII Latin America Market is dedicated to celebrating the Latin American culture in Portugal, and hosts 80 stands featuring various handicrafts, cuisines, and arts hailing from various Latin American countries, as well as music and dance showcases!
Guidelines for the event:
1.) Respect the RSVP
A lot of time and energy go into making the Midweek Mingle happen. From organising to making the experience great for everyone, this truly is an event that comes from our hearts. As such, we kindly ask that if you’ve RSVP’d, you honour it. If you’re running late, no worries! Just know that once the event has started, it is slightly trickier for us to communicate or step away from the group.
2.) Feedback, not reviews
As it is our goal to make this event better with every meetup, we prefer to use a more effective space to receive and engage with feedback. If you have any feedback you’d like to give, use the link below to reach out through our WhatsApp community, since that is where we are most active.
