You don't need to know how to draw. You just need to be curious.
We take the ferry from Cais do Sodré to Cacilhas and walk to a viewpoint most people don't know about. With a view of the 25 de Abril bridge, the Tejo, and Cristo Rei across the water.
For 2 hours, we sit, we observe, and we sketch what's in front of us. I'll guide you through how to look at the bridge before you draw it, proportions, light, the way the river moves. While we draw, I'll tell you the real story of this bridge, this river, and what they mean to the city.
You'll leave with a sketch you made yourself and a version of Lisbon that most people never saw.
The session ends just in time for sunset. We'll point you to a nearby spot where the light over the Tejo is worth staying for
What to bring: Any pen you have. Any paper or sketchbook. If you have nothing, bring a pen and tear a page from your notebook. That's enough.
Meeting point: Cais do Sodré ferry terminal, There is a ferry departing from cais do sodré to cacilhas at 14:30, be there 10 minutes before departure. I'll be there to meet you
Group size: Maximum 6 people. Kept small on purpose.
