Most people I teach love music, but feel a bit intimated by the whole DJ thing. I push you on, with advice and encouragement, and get you mixing a set, based on the music you love.

First learn what beat-matching is and how to do it (basically how to play two tunes at the same time). Learn how to build a set and blend tracks together using techniques that haven't changed since DJing became a thing. And use the modern techniques of sampling, looping and even a bit of squelching (yep, that's a thing). It's really good fun and it can be a real adrenaline rush too.

Maximum paying people (learning to DJ): 3
Bring friends/family: Unlimited.
Only the person learning will be expected to pay.

Drinks provided (free).

About me: I first bought my decks at 13 years old - I'm now 41 and I'm still mixing, looping and loving the music. I have taught DJing for about 15yrs, in London and Toronto (where I was an on-air DJ).

I've DJ'ed all over the world from cheesy weddings to booming beach parties - it's really easy once you get going.
