This weekend we will go back to the place where Portugal once connected continents.
Belém is where it all began,
the starting point of voyages that reshaped the world.

Join me for a walking tour through one of Lisbon’s most iconic areas,
where we’ll explore the Golden Age of Portugal, once called the Age of "Discoveries" (and why that name is… a bit more complicated than it sounds).
A time when this small country became one of the most powerful empires in the world.

We’ll walk through the key monuments of Belém, uncover the stories behind the explorers,
and understand how ambition, strategy, and curiosity led Portugal beyond the known world 🌊
And of course…
no visit to Belém is complete without a stop at the original bakery of the famous Pastel de Nata 😏

Meeting Point: Praça Afonso de Albuquerque (next to Belém train station), next to the central statue
How to find me: I’ll be right by the center of the square. Look for the guide with the giant flower lei necklace and a **yellow name tag!**😊
