Ladies Night with Tournament! from 6:30PM @Caja

⚠️ We're trying to get a more gender-balanced crowd at our events! ⚠️
This week, we'll give priority to ladies: this means that we will move ladies from the "Waiting" to the "Going" lists, managing the number of attendees until we're 40.

1. Gathering from 6:30PM at Materia Pizzeria
2. Roll Call at 7:10PM
3. Tournament start: 7:15PM (beginner-friendly - read below)

The ticket will be 3€

• Swiss-system tournament...long story short: fair pairing, no eliminations, black/white rotation maximized, never play twice with the same opponent.
• Clocks will be set on 5'+03”
• 6 rounds (3 rounds, then dinner break, then 3 more rounds)
• Max 34 players
• prizes: T-shirt for the winner, free drink for the last in the final ranking, plus a mug randomly drawn.

🔎 Swiss-system management ensures, among other things, that everyone is paired with opponents with a similar score: if you lose the first round, you'll be paired with someone who lost too. The more rounds you play, the more likely you are to play against someone your strength.
Swiss-system is non-eliminating, so you'll play the whole tournament no matter what your strength is! 🥳
