No, Lisbon Gambit is not for everyone.

We maintain zero tolerance for harassment.

In recent days, I've learned of a couple of isolated, unrelated incidents where women faced targeted harassment from men, bordering on abusive behavior.

These are especially concerning as they extended beyond the events themselves, in both time and location.

As founder and organizer of this community, alongside our hosts, I urge you: speak up immediately if you ever feel uncomfortable with anyone's conduct, during or after events.

We'll act with determination, while prioritizing your privacy.

Together, we must create a safe space for all...especially ladies!

I invite fellow chess event organizers, the Portuguese Chess Federation, and other institutions to join this call: let's unite to make Lisbon's chess scene a true zero-tolerance zone, where everyone attends worry-free.

A final word: if you believe you've caused distress or shown disrespect, I strongly discourage attending our events again unless with a complete attitude shift toward our community and every member.
