Do you have a book that changed your life? Or one you’re ready to pass on or lend to someone who might need it right now? Join us for an afternoon of community, connection, and the joy of sharing stories at our Book Borrow, and Swap Event! 📚✨

This event is about more than just books. It’s a chance to meet new friends, sip on some drinks, enjoy chill tunes, and be a part of a space that welcomes everyone—especially queer, neurodiverse, and disabled folks. While the washroom is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible, we’re happy to chat about any other accommodation needs to make the experience enjoyable for all.

Here’s how it works:
✨ Bring as many books as you like — whether it’s one or a whole stack!
✨ Books can be in English, Portuguese, or any other language — the more variety, the better!
✨ Feel free to loan a book if you’re not ready to part with it. We suggest a 3-4 month loan period so others can enjoy it, too! We’ll set up another swap in the new year to help with this.

Books have a special way of connecting us. They open up new ideas, spark deep conversations, and sometimes lead to lifelong friendships. We invite you to bring your favorite reads, swap stories, and help create a community where everyone is welcome.

So grab a friend (or come solo!), bring your books, and settle in for a relaxed, cozy afternoon where books are the bridge to new connections.

Embora o banheiro infelizmente não seja acessível para cadeirantes, estamos disponíveis para conversar sobre quaisquer outras necessidades de acessibilidade para garantir uma experiência agradável para todos.

Como funciona:
✨ Traga quantos livros quiser — pode ser um ou uma pilha inteira!
✨ Os livros podem ser em inglês, português ou qualquer outra língua — quanto mais diversidade, melhor!
✨ Se preferir, você pode emprestar um livro em vez de doar. Sugerimos um período de empréstimo de 3-4 meses para que outros possam desfrutar também.
