Description: Javaflame is a debugging tool that captures all function calls including argument and return values and plot them on a flamegraph. It runs locally, no servers required, and the output is a simple html. Just plug the agent and get the results.
Biography:
Lucas Santos is a Senior Software Engineer at Gebit with nearly two decades of experience in software development. He specializes in Java, having worked on various systems including CRM, Billing, and Financial projects, as well as developing Android apps and front-end solutions. Lucas is known for his open-source project, Javaflame, a debugging tool that captures argument values and presents them as a flamegraph. In his free time, he enjoys creating and playing games, and experimenting with new technologies.

Description: Let’s explore together the fascinating world of cloud-native application development and how to build portable and resilient apps with Dapr (distributed application runtime). In this session, we will introduce what is Dapr and showcase how it can help us build portable and modern apps, but also when it shouldn't be used. At the end, we'll take a look at a demo of some pub-sub/resilience patterns we can easily use with Dapr.
Biography: Software development is my passion. I'm a student at heart and love to challenge myself to grow. His experience is mostly in e-commerce with event-driven architectures and microservices, using .NET and Azure. His favorite hobbies are listening to music and reading books.
