Whether youâve been kayaking a few times or want to give it a try, this group is for you!
The goal is to plan a kayaking adventure with a company that provides kayaks and a guide at least twice per month while the weather is nice (approx. April - October). We will explore both beginner and intermediate level routes in and around the Lisbon area.
We will reserve a table at a local restaurant after each ride to have lunch together as a group đ

Join the Lisbon Kayak Crew for our upcoming adventure! Whether you're an experienced kayaker or a (sporty) beginner looking to try something new, this event is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts.
We are finally heading out on the Rio NabĂŁo for another river ride departing from the river beach at Agroal. We will paddle 7 kms through the lush river landscapes, interrupted by a stop at the mysterious abandoned factory of Porto de Cavaleiros. After passing by the Capela da Nossa Senhora das Lapas, our route will end at the quaint river beach of Sobreirinho.
Duration: approx. 5 hours in total
- 2.5 hours on the water (incl. breaks)
- 2.5 hours for lunch at a local Portuguese restaurant in the templar city of Tomar and a quick tour
Price: âŹ20 per person. This includes:
- kayak rental including life jacket and paddle
- certified monitors to ensure the safety of all participants
To reserve your spot and facilitate organization with the kayak company, please send your payment via Revolut (@maaadison) or MBWay (926105878) by the end of the day Thursday, May 15th. First come, first served.
What to bring:
- Swimsuit and/or neoprene and/or clothes that can get wet
- Shoes/sandals that can get wet
- Sunscreen and hat
- Change of clothes, second pair of shoes, and a towel
- Waterproof case for your phone to take pictures along the way
Level: Suitable for sporty beginners

How to get there:
- By car(pool): Arrive by 09:30 to the designated location near the river beach in Agroal. More info to follow.
After you have pre-paid, you will be invited to the WhatsApp community to better organize carpooling as well as share pictures and other event-related information.
