Ericeira Community Connections - June 17 #04

After three successful events, it is time to invite you to the 4th edition. This Ericeira Community Connections Group gathering is both for positive, tolerant people new to the Ericeira area and friendly folks who have been here longer who want to welcome newcomers and increase their connections with other locals. With the help of the successful Lisbon Community Connection (which helped over 1986+ people to connect), we now organize the forth meetup in Ericeira on 17 June 2025.

Location: Sr. Tigre Lounge & Tapas Bar

This events helps to creates new bonds between newcomers to the Ericeira Area and those who have been here for a while in a simple, fun, yet effective way.

Your hosts for this event will be Alexandra de Clercq, with the help of the amazing team of volunteers from the Lisbon Community Connection.

Our events are open and welcoming to people from all backgrounds and ages. You will be surprised to see how many different people come together to connect at these events.

This is not a speed dating/pickup type event. Everyone who attends is entitled to feel safe, and not be harassed or pressured. We are introducing enhanced measures to address this issue following some complaints.

EVENT STRUCTURE:
We will have a structured first sixty minutes with icebreakers aimed at making things easy for people to connect. Then participants are welcome to hang out and socialise as they wish after the structured part of the meeting is over. Drinks are for your own expense.

REACH OUT:
If you have a community initiative you want to share or announce, let us know in advance.

VOLUNTEERS:
We need volunteers to help us develop the project. From simple things like being early to welcome people, through to PR and graphic design and a website. Please make yourself known to the hosts of the evening if you are willing to volunteer.

We aim to be a local community of internationally minded people in the heart of Ericeira. You are welcome to be a part of it.

When you sign up to our events we add you to our mailing list if you give us your email address so we can tell you about more free events run by volunteers. If you don't want us to do that don't give us your email.
