LxPC 17 May — a Tale of Two Gardens

The title for this walk is a reference to Charles Dickens' Tale of Two Cities, a novel which opens with:
"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times*, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.*"

As we set on a slow-paced walk that will take us through two of Lisbon's parks, can this famous incipit (opening sentence) inspire the images that we'll be making? This will be your photographic assignment for the walk (should you choose to accep it).

Expect a slow-paced walk of about 7 to 8 km. Wear good shoes, bring your bottle of water.

We'll end with drinks somewhere in Alcântara.

Ao embarcarmos numa caminhada lenta que nos levará por dois parques de Lisboa, será que este famoso parágrafo inicial pode inspirar as imagens que vamos fazer? Esta será a sua missão fotográfica para o passeio (se decidir aceitá-la).

É de esperar uma caminhada lenta de cerca de 7 a 8 km. Use bons sapatos e traga a sua garrafa de água.
