Hosted by Ramia and Alan at Tayybeh - Lisboa a space born out of love, resilience, and a deep passion for authentic Syrian cuisine our club goes beyond just eating. We believe that food is the ultimate storyteller and the most beautiful way to bring people together.
What you can expect from our meetups:
> Authentic Cooking Masterclasses: Join Chef Ramia in our cozy 'sala' to learn the hidden secrets of Middle Eastern cuisine. From mastering the perfect cold mezze (hummus, mutabal) to the intricate art of rolling Yalanji (stuffed grape leaves) and crafting delicate Syrian sweets. It’s hands-on, fun, and deeply rewarding!
> Cultural Gatherings: We are not just about food! We will host evenings dedicated to cultural exchange, including Arabic literature readings, language exchange, traditional music, and storytelling.
> Community Feasts: The best part of our meetups? After we craft or learn, we sit together around a large communal table. We share our creations, exchange stories, and build a beautiful, supportive community over a glass of Portuguese wine or a warm cup of cardamom tea.
