Wired for Connection: A fresh exploration of attachment

Details

Attachment is not just a dry concept. All of us, regardless of what language we speak or how old we are, know and understand what attachment is because it's the most natural and fundamental aspect of our human nature - to feel connected.

Oftentimes, hearing about attachment and attachment styles leads to a feeling of being flawed or stuck at a dead-end. This workshop offers you a fresh perspective on adult attachment, presenting it as a love map, drawing from leading research in the field. In exploring this topic of attachment, we will also look at the integration between body and mind, and the role that regulating the nervous system plays on the path of creating a safe bond.

This event is relevant for all therapists and coaches who are interested in extending their knowledge of different theories and modalities, as well as anyone who is generally interested in psychology and self-development. This is an inclusive event open to all genders, and will include discussion as well as (optional) experiential moments.

Practicalities
The event will take place at Outsite in their Cowork Cafe and drinks will be available before and after the event. We will begin promptly at 6.30pm so please ensure that you are seated before then so as not to disrupt the energy of the event.
