Astrology’s Wounded Healer: An Introduction to Chiron

In astrology, Chiron is known as the Wounded Healer: a place in your birth chart that reveals your most persistent, often invisible wound and the quiet wisdom that grows around it. For anyone interested in self-awareness, personal development, or understanding the patterns that keep showing up in your life, Chiron offers a surprisingly precise mirror. In this talk, Martina will introduce Chiron not as an astrology lesson, but as a practical tool for self-inquiry, exploring what it reveals, why it matters and why it tends to resonate so deeply with people who work in helping, healing and coaching roles (or are simply curious about what makes them tick).

What to expect:

• A conversational, jargon-free introduction to Chiron and the wounded healer archetype
• Real-life examples of how Chiron themes show up in relationships, career and personal patterns
• A chance to identify your own Chiron placement (using your own chart during one of the activities)
• Space for reflection and conversation
• No astrology knowledge required, just curiosity

You don't need to know anything about astrology to walk into this session, but you might walk out seeing yourself a little differently.

Practicalities:
The event will take place at Kube Coworking, upstairs in the Open Hall. We will begin promptly at 6.30pm so please ensure that you are seated before then so as not to disrupt the energy of the event. You can buy refreshments at the adjoining cafe before the event.

There is no charge for attendance but we recommend a voluntary donation of at least €5 (cash only) for those who are willing and able to contribute to help cover the use of the venue, support for the presenters, as well as administrative costs.

About the Presenter:
Martina Anguelova is a professional Astrologer, Reiki Master and Wellness Practitioner based in Lisbon, where she leads The Seekers Circle, a practice that blends astrology with healing modalities including Yoga Nidra, Reiki and EFT (Tapping). Having worked with over 700 clients, her approach is rooted in what she calls "practical spirituality": making ancient systems feel relevant, personal and immediately useful for everyday life and growth.

Chiron is central to Martina's work. She has developed a system that bridges the worlds of astrology and psychology that has Chiron at the heart of it. Her own Chiron wound has been her compass, in her personal life and even more so in her professional development. Martina is currently pursuing a master's degree in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology. She also consults for astrology apps and platforms, manages two Lisbon-based communities and practices at one of the city's leading wellness centres.
