And this year is quite special, as we also celebrate Dr. JosĂ© Gregorio Hernández, who just became Venezuela’s first Saint, a symbol of compassion, healing and humble service 🙏🏽

Two Venezuelan women — @sabila.comida & @azulejovegan — join forces to reimagining Venezuelan cuisine through plants, fermentation, and love.
What united us was sabor y alma: the love for our homeland, the echoes of childhood kitchens, and how as immigrant women, we find home through food.
We want to turn nostalgia into nourishment; tradition into compassion... and we want to share it with you

A Plant-based three-course journey through Venezuela’s essence —
From the highlands’ warmth to the tropical coast’s brightness, each plate tells a story.
Ripe plantains become “carne,” celery root turns into asado negro,
and mango with green papaya bring freshness and surprise.
A feast of roots, creativity, and compassion — shared around one table.
