Please note the event has a structure and schedule. If you show up late you will miss out on the activities.

This "Lisbon Newcomers Welcome Club" gathering is for people who are new to Lisbon or want to welcome them, and increase their number of connections.

It's a pilot, so please be supportive if you like the idea and help us make it happen.

Our events are open and welcoming to people from all backgrounds.
We will have a structured first ninety minutes with icebreakers aimed at making things easy for people who don't know lots of other people.

Then participants are welcome to hang out and socialise in the Selina Secret Garden Bar, where there will be a live DJ.

After the structured part of the meeting, guests will be free to mingle and socialise as they wish.

If you have a community initiative you want to share or announce, let us know in advance. We will have information stall for leaflets as well.

We aim to be a local community of internationally minded people in the heart of Lisbon. You are welcome to be a part of it.

The idea is to maintain and sustain the community spirit that sometimes emerged during Covid and help build back better and stronger than before.

The person behind this project is Richard Lucas who is on the Advisory Board of Village in the City worldwide, and helped launch a similar initiative in Krakow with great success.
