Sintra to Colares

Details
- This is not a circular hike
- Expect at least 5 hours, length of 12 to 13 km, elevation gain of least 450 meters. Difficulty: Moderate.
- We will catch a bus in Colares to return to Sintra or you can take a bus to Cascais.
- We may encounter a trail that is blocked from trees that fell during the big March storm. I have a small saw to hack through but we might need to alter the course.
Our start point is the Palace Cafe across from the Sintra train station.
- There is train leaving Lisbon Rossio station at 10:01 arriving at 10:41.
- There is a train leaving Oriente station at 10:08 arriving at Sintra at 10:55.
We will not start hiking until after the train from Oriente has arrived and I believe everyone has made it to the start point, about 11h10.
