- All of our Events are open to anyone (18+) but some may be ticketed or have membership contributions, so make sure you read the event description to be sure.

What to Expect from the Event?
The evening will begin with a few readings from Angelique before we open the floor to the open mic, for anyone who wishes to share their poetry in a warm and welcoming environment.If you’d like to perform, please prepare 1 or 2 poems, ideally originals. Both English and Portuguese poetry are welcome. Not a performer? No problem! You’re more than welcome to attend and enjoy the readings as part of the audience.

About the event -
Join us at Baiwho Lisboa Concept Store for an intimate evening of live music, where storytelling and melody come together in a cosy basement setting. With a beer or glass of wine in hand, settle in and let two incredible local artists transport you with their heartfelt performances. Whether you're here to discover new music, unwind after a long day, or simply enjoy good company, this promises to be a special night.Event Timings -
8.30 - Doors open. Say hello before the music starts. You can also grab a delicious sandwich by Chef Iury Freitas (limited to stock)
9.00pm - The music is due to begin. Find your seat! Two artists will perform with a short interval in between.
10.30pm - The show should be finished, feel free to grab a drink after and mingle.Tickets -
Entrance for the concert is €12 and can be purchased on Shotgun. Places are limited so we suggest purchasing tickets beforehand.About The Artists -
Mariana Costa is a Portuguese singer-songwriter and independent artist. Drawing inspiration from folk, bossa nova, and acoustic storytelling, Mariana's music is calm and intimate, marked by soulful melodies. Whether performing solo or collaborating with other musicians, Mariana creates an atmosphere of warmth and connection, often mixing her original compositions with timeless songs she holds dear.Reid is an internationally accredited creative artist working across the realms of film/ theatre/ music and spoken word. Think Jeff Buckley meets Ani De Franco with an Ella Fitzgerald kinda earthiness, Reid trained classically at Trinity College of Music, earned a BA in musical theatre from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and has gigged with the likes of Sting, Eddi Reader and performed at festivals like Latitude, SXSW, Edinburgh Festival & Into The Wild.
