Roxanne Franz’s work invites us inward, into the landscapes of essence, identity, and authenticity. A writer, psychotherapist, and self-taught painter, Franz discovered painting as a medium that liberated her from expectation and opened a space for raw, honest expression. Her canvases translate inner states into radiant forms, exploring how belief systems, emotions, and embodied presence shape who we are and how we live.
At the opening, take your time exploring the exhibition, connect with fellow art lovers, and meet Roxanne herself. Our wine bar and bookstore will be open throughout the evening.About the Exhibition: How does it feel?
Roxanne's current series How does it feel?, She investigates the question: What does it feel like to live in alignment with your true essence?
Each painting is born from a lived experiment: Franz “tries on” different belief systems - ways of being more aligned with authenticity - and observes how they shift her emotions, body, and choices. These explorations then find form on the canvas, becoming luminous records of transformation. Her works move between states of deep connection, longing, and liberation, creating contemplative spaces for viewers to encounter themselves. Rather than illustrating answers, the series offers an invitation - to sense into the textures of authenticity, to imagine a life led by the heart, and to remember who we are beneath stories, roles, and adaptations.
