About the event -
Join us at Good Company Books for an intimate evening of live music, where storytelling and melody come together in a cosy bookshop setting. With a glass of wine in hand, settle in and let two incredible local artists transport you with their heartfelt performances. Whether you're here to discover new music, unwind after a long week, or simply enjoy good company, this promises to be a special night.

Event Timings -
7.00pm - Doors open. Grab a drink and say hello before the music starts. Let Jess know when you arrive if you're with MeetUp! :)
7.15pm - The music is due to begin. Find your seat! Two artists will perform with a short interval in between.
9.00pm - The show should be finished, feel free to grab a drink and browse our bookstore.

Tickets -
Entrance for the concert is €5 and can be purchased on Eventbrite. Places are limited so we suggest purchasing tickets beforehand. However, if we are not sold out, tickets will also be available at the door.

About The Artists -
Rita Costa Medeiros is an Azorean artist from the island of São Miguel, where she began her musical journey. With a degree in Musicology from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Rita was part of the 2021 edition of The Voice Portugal, where she reached the live shows and joined António Zambujo's team. In recent years, she has explored her creative side as a composer, creating music that blends fado, jazz, and soul with Portuguese music. More recently, she completed a Music Production course and during this journey, her debut album "Há Mais Para Ser" was born, which she produced from start to finish. It is now on tour across Portugal, including performances at Coliseu Micaelense and FNAC stores throughout the country.

Marie Chaplet presents her solo project, comprising all her favourite works, from classical piano, French chansons and jazz, to her own compositions exploring love, hardship, and resilience in a soulful style, often with a touch of humor, and always strongly influenced by her international ties and wide range of musical taste.
