About us
Grief is lonely, and everyone grieves in their own way. Sometimes it’s helpful to be with others who are also grieving in their own lonely way.
A peer grief support group is a time-tested and effective way to process grief. By sharing and listening to others, we feel less lonely and grief can begin to feel less heavy.
Join this group to register for in-person grief support groups and upcoming workshops, as well as support from Tamara at Listening to Grief.

West Seattle In-person Grief Support Group
Mama Be Well Healing Studio, 4034A California Ave SW, Seattle, WA, USIn-person support groups for adults who are grieving the death of a loved one. Facilitated by Certified Grief Educator, Tamara Kubacki, founder of Listening to Grief.
What to expect:
- Tell your story. Share your loved one’s name.
- Have your feelings seen, heard, and understood by other grievers.
- Cultivate empathy and community by listening to each other’s stories.
Each session has three parts. We begin with a short grounding meditation and introductions. During the second and main part, we read a brief poem or passage about grief, then spend time sharing and listening to each others' stories. The third and final part wraps up the session and sets us up to return to our individual lives.

Conscious Connections
Revitalize Spa, 8142 15th Avenue Southwest, Seattle, WA, USResearch continues to show how deeply the loneliness epidemic has affected so many of us since the global pandemic.
At Conscious Connections you will find community, conversation, and a welcoming space.
Emma of Revitalize Spa and Tamara of Listening to Grief have created an intimate space where we come together to talk openly and honestly about what we’re feeling and experiencing. Each month, we’ll lift each other up by tapping into the energy and supportiveness of everyone in the room. Our hope is to help ease that sense of isolation one heartfelt conversation and meaningful connection at a time.
While not a group exclusively for grieving people, we encourage everyone to bring their whole selves, grief included.
A minimum donation (accepted at the door) of $10 is appreciated to help cover space and event costs; all are welcome regardless of contribution.
