What we’re about
Grief is lonely, and everyone grieves in their own way. Sometimes it’s helpful to be with others who are also grieving in their own lonely way.
A peer grief support group is a time-tested and effective way to process grief. By sharing and listening to others, we feel less lonely and grief can begin to feel less heavy.
Join this group to register for in-person grief support groups and upcoming workshops, as well as support from Tamara at Listening to Grief.

Grief Tea Blending is a therapeutic class where participants create custom herbal blends designed to provide comfort and support based on their individual grief symptoms. Join us to explore the healing properties of different teas while sharing your experiences in a nurturing environment.
During the Grief Tea Blending class, we’ll begin by identifying the various grief symptoms we experience: Some people lose their appetites, some can’t sleep or sleep too much, some people develop headaches or recurring nausea, to name a few.
From there, Nicole of West Coast Willow Apothecary will guide the participants in creating individualized, custom herbal blends designed to provide support of the symptoms and soothing for loss.
We’ll end with a sharing circle while tasting our custom tea. You’ll leave with a jar of your own tea blend to help soothe you in your grief.
