Join us for our February Lit & Libations Book Club gathering—an evening of science fiction, sharp humor, and lively conversation at Shorebirds on El Paseo, on Wednesday, February 19 at 5:15 PM.

Our February selection is Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. With a highly anticipated film adaptation on the way, now is the perfect time to read (or reread) this modern sci-fi favorite.

Join Lit & Libations for a special literary outing steeped in gothic atmosphere, classic storytelling, and cocktails inspired by Edgar Allan Poe.
We’ll be attending the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy experience—an immersive afternoon where Poe’s most haunting works are brought to life through dramatic performance and paired libations. This chapter features live storytelling of:
🖋️ The Cask of Amontillado
🖋️ Annabel Lee
🖋️ The Pit and the Pendulum
🖋️ The Fall of the House of Usher
Each tale is performed in an intimate speakeasy setting and paired with themed cocktails designed to echo the mood and menace of Poe’s writing.
