Let’s talk about death over tea and cake.

A Death Café is an informal group-directed discussion about death and other end of life issues; other than helping people become more comfortable with the topic, there is no particular agenda. It is not a grief support or counseling session, but rather a chance to explore death-related topics in a relaxed atmosphere. Jamie Arthurs from Dignity Memorial and Jane Morrison from Capital Caring will be facilitating the conversation along with library staff. Free coffee and sweet treats will be served.

Arlington Public Library will be hosting two Death Cafes on 5/22/19:

Central: 2:00-3:30 p.m.
Columbia Pike: 6:30-8:00 p.m.

RSVP for an event reminder; attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis: https://arlingtonva.libcal.com/event/5208929
