In every home, there are ordinary objects that hold extraordinary meaning. What might seem like just a teapot, a worn t-shirt, or a simple handkerchief can hold a deep meaning and spark memories. At Aurora Hills Library, volunteer Samantha Barnett invites the community to explore these powerful connections through a unique exhibit of everyday treasures. Each item tells a story—of where we come from, of moments that shaped us, or of the people we hold dear. These objects can help spark that connection with a community member over a similar memory, experience, or the object itself. By sharing these personal artifacts, we open the door to connection, finding common ground through shared experiences and memories. Join us in celebrating the objects that bind us and the stories that bring us together.
The exhibit will be on display from June 21 - August 16, 2025, in the glass display cases in the Aurora Hills Library lobby.
