Hike Fuller Mountain, Fuller Pond and Pond Mountain

This hike will be around 10 miles with 2200' elevation gain and moderately strenuous.

We'll park where the AT crosses route 341 in Kent, CT at 8:45. From there we'll walk along the Appalachian Trail steeply up Fuller Mountain. When we reach Skiff Mountain Road, we'll leave the AT and explore the Pond Mountain Natural Area. We'll summit Pond Mountain (1332'), which offers spectacular views, then follow the trail all the way around the pristine and isolated Fuller Pond. We finish our trek by taking the AT back down to where we began.

Those looking to extend their hike could continue north on the AT to Caleb's Peak.

Bring at least two liters of water, rain gear, and some food.
