This strenuous 11-mile hike covers many well-known sights along the AT and gains close to 3000' of elevation.
As we traverse one of the best sections of the Appalachian Trail, we'll pause at the impressive and isolated Race Brook Falls, summit Mount Race (2,365′) with it's stunning views, behold the wondrous Sages Ravine, and summit the tallest mountain in CT, Bear Mountain (2,323').
We'll access the AT in MA via the Race Brook Trail and end up at the parking lot on 41 in CT via the Undermountain Trail.
We'll meet at the Undermountain Trail Head and shuttle north to the Race Brook Trail Head.
