The Presidential Traverse is a strenuous hike covering over 20 miles of challenging, rocky terrain gaining about 9,000 feet of elevation.
THIS HIKE IS FOR STRONG AND EXPERIENCED HIKERS ONLY.
Meet at 3:0 am by the Crawford Notch Road cross from Saco lake/pond (44.21767, -71.41116).
Car shuttle to Appalachia Trailhead. Head out around 4:00 am. Want get over Mt Washington in earlier hours. Finish early enough to catch a dinner before restaurants close.
