We are hiking east part of the Devil's Path is a legendary point-to-point hiking trail that traverses the rugged spine of the northern Catskill Mountains in New York.

Widely considered one of the most challenging routes in the eastern United States, this formidable path rewards seasoned adventurers with breathtaking scenic lookouts, deep balsam forests, and dramatic rock formations. The mercilessly steep terrain features relentless elevation changes, demanding hands-on rock scrambles through narrow chutes, vertical chimneys, and slippery talus fields.

We are beginning to hike from the Prediger Road Trailhead to Devils Tombstone Campground.
