I hate to say it, but Jonathan's moving all the way to Colorado, so it's not likely he'll be hiking with us every weekend as he's done since LCE's infancy.

Needless to say, he's going to be missed. Jonathan made every hike he joined better. He's a physical specimen, sure, but those guys are a dime-a-dozen. What I'll really miss is his charm, sense of humor, modesty, sense of adventure, and good will toward others. I think anyone who's hiked with him feels the same way, so please come out for this "Official Farewell and Bon Voyage Hike for Jonathan Landman Followed by an Optional Lunch!"

We'll hike a piece of the Mohawk Trail (6.5 miles) steeply up the surprisingly annoying Beadloaf Mountain to the Appalachian Trail, then do the entire Pine Knob Loop. We will end where we started at the hiker lot on Route 7 close to the intersection of Route 4. There are very nice views and some spectacular brooks to behold.
