Get ready for some cringe. The next movie that my random script chose is an anthology of some very dated social engineering films from the 40s-60s in 16 mm, screening at the famous video store Vidiots.

Vidiots is now in Eagle Rock (some of you may remember it used to be in Santa Monica). There should be plenty of street parking.

The movie starts at 7:00. Probably won't be any previews.

Here's a description and link for tickets:

We’re cranking up the Elmo 16CL projector for another round of obscure 16mm rarities, this time all from the late 1940s through the early 1960s with a slate of social engineering films designed to create model citizens and healthy adults. From strangers with candy to high school dropouts, to puberty’s pitfalls and civic responsibility, these largely forgotten gems are laughably out-of-date and teeming with an antiquated morality you can only find in yesteryear.

I'll be browsing in Vidiots for a little bit before heading into the theater. I'll be carrying a rubber duck. My cell is 310-227-1719.
