Next random movie is Yearning, a Japanese film from 1964, at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.

The famous Egyptian Theatre is now owned by Netflix for some reason, and if you have ever visited it before, it was remodeled, so be ready for that. But the American Cinematheque still screens movies there.

Parking in Hollywood is a thing. If you can I recommend taking the Metro B line to the Hollywood-Highland station and not worry about parking.

Quiet passions erupt from within in Naruse’s late period masterpiece, a sumptuous melodrama of undulating and repressed feeling, set as the postwar dispersal of modernization stretches beyond Tokyo.
