Exploring the Works of Elizabeth Gaskell: Reading Ruth (1853)

Having finished the Brontës' works, we're going to work through the novels of Elizabeth Gaskell, starting with Mary Barton (1848), Cranford (1853), Ruth (1853), North and South (1855), Sylvia's Lovers (1863), and Wives and Daughters (1866).
