Opinions on this author vary widely. Opinions on this manuscript also vary widely. However, opinions on the underlying historical story are undivided in their acclaim for the two people at its heart. It's the story of two human beings against the full weight of an authoritarian regime that had spies on every block and in every family and yet faced without any other outlet for their frustration these two brave humans undertook a campaign of defying their Nazi overlords by leaving handwritten notes anonymously in stairwells throughout their city.
Should our own goverment take such an extreme turn, this too would be our only recourse, though we could not hope a foreign power would free our country from the nitwits overseeing our subjugation, nor could we hope to enter and exit any building, street, sidewalk without being videoed by fixed or mobile NSA assets. Regrettably we could not even hope to discuss such a traitorous act in our own homes as our appliances, phones, tv's, computers, some fridges, some thermostats, some doorbells all are listening, and our own government along with up to fifty corporations are recording those feeds.
These are us. Honest, scrupulous people pushed into a corner by little twits who have forced our own institutions agains us. It is happening now. Already most of us have been forced into despondency because we have no say in the attrocities our own government commits. Americans don't want to be mean liars. We don't want to be inhospitable. We don't want to be unreliable to our allies and our neighbors. But what can we do? What can any one person do? This story about sums it up. We do some little meaningless thing and we will and we do. And if we all do some meaningless thing maybe we can get back our confidence to start setting a positive example worldwide, jointly as country and do some good tasks that benefit all humans and not just of few of our own rich citizens, like we used to do not so long ago.

Credit cards are no good at Sergio's. He's way ahead of us on this. It ain't convenient, but it is just. Please bring cash, There is a an ATM, but the place it is already pricey. It will make you mad to give an ATM another fee.
*** On 3/16/20 Mike rescheduled this meetup to June.
