#### Healing is colorful, communal, and overdue...
This Mental Health Awareness Month, we're coming together to create, connect, and get real about what wellness looks like in our BIPOC community.
โจ What to Expect:
- ๐จ Tie-dye! โ Nothing heals like fun arts and crafts. Tap into your inner child and have fun tie-dying a tee or tote bag - or both if you're feeling crafty!
- ๐ฌ๏ธ Conscious Breathing โ Breathe deep, take in nature, fresh air, and the good energy flowing all around you.
- ๐ง Wellness games โ Yes, mental health can be heavy to think about, but it can be fun too!
- ๐ฌ Community convos โ We'll dive into some conversations with the community, led by mental health and wellness experts!
- ๐ฝ๏ธ Yummy bites โ We'll have a yummy, light lunch for you paired with some refreshments and good vibes!
- And giveaways, so don't miss out!
Come ready to step outside the stigma, share and reconnect with kindred souls, and enjoy the vibes and activities.
** This retreat is for all ages and individuals that are healthy and able. Children are welcome (ticket purchase required).
Refreshments provided; free parking available. Photography and videography will be captured throughout the retreat for social media, branding, and promotional purposes to showcase our community and the experience.
We will start promptly at 11 AM!
A bit about our conscious breathing leader, Brett Blake, Certified Chopra Meditation Instructor
Brett's spiritual journey has been an exploration of many different schools of thought, seeking to understand the Universal truths that lie within the heart of all religions and philosophies. With an open mind and deep curiosity, he has delved into the teachings of Eastern mystics, Western philosophers, and Indigenous wisdom keepers, always searching for new insights and perspectives that can help him better understand the nature of existence.
Through his studies, Brett has discovered that while each spiritual tradition has its own unique approach and language, at their core, they all point to the same fundamental truth: the power of the breath.
Visit his website for more information and to connect with him.
