Book Discussion: The Rebel by Albert Camus

Details
Join us for a discussion of Camus’ The Rebel, a profound philosophical essay, where Camus interrogates the nature of rebellion and revolution -from metaphysical revolt to historical uprisings- asking what it means to say “no” to injustice while refusing to become an agent of new forms of oppression. Written in the shadow of totalitarian regimes and ideological extremism, The Rebel critically examines the moral limits of violence, the temptation of nihilism, and the contradictions within revolutionary thought.
We’ll unpack its relevance to today’s political and social struggles through the lens of post–World War II thought.
