What we’re about
LittéraTour is a book club dedicated to exploring world literature that grapples with the political, economic, and social upheavals of the post–World War II era. Our focus is on works that critically examine the shifting landscapes of Western capitalism, Eastern communism, and various "third way" alternatives. We aim to read and discuss books that have profoundly shaped public consciousness, challenged dominant ideologies, and continue to resonate in today’s world.
Through literature, we seek to engage with themes of political transformation, social deconstruction, and decolonial thought—questioning inherited narratives and exploring how stories can illuminate the structures of power that define our global reality. Littératour invites passionate readers who are interested in the intersection of literature, politics, and society to join a collective journey of thoughtful dialogue, critical reflection, and shared discovery.
