This Litter Light of Mine (Durham)

Join me (Gus) us as we implement phase 1 cleanup of a large dump site on Glenwood Avenue, in Durham county, just 100 yards west of the Wake county line. Phase 1's top priority will be to go through all of the clothes and pick out the ones we think are thrift shop worthy after washing. If time permits we'll also start on other cleanup at the site, leaving other cleanup for a future event.

Pickup tools, bags, and reflective safety vests are provided. Bring your own work gloves (or buy from us for $1.50). Wear sturdy shoes or boots (no flip flops, sandals or crocs)

please arrive 5 minutes early for instructions and materials distribution. As with all events, please check meetup on the day of the event to see if there have been any changes or a cancellation.

Minimum age is 14; newcomers are encouraged. Each volunteer (adult and youth) should complete this waiver, one time only, unless your contact information changes.
