What is Pico Math KOYA?
Pico Math KOYA is a volunteer initiative dedicated to supporting children's growth through the use of PICO TORE, a unique handheld calculator gaming console. Our mission is to help children enhance their critical thinking and basic academic skills while having fun with technology.

About the Location: KOYA
This activity takes place at KOYA, a community space dedicated to children. KOYA provides a supportive environment with toys and picture books to help local children learn and play safely.

What We Do
Our sessions are designed to be flexible and child-centered, rather than a rigid classroom environment.

• Math Time: For the first 30 minutes, children use the PICO TORE. Volunteers help by recording the number of correct answers and taking photos of the activity.
• Play Time: After the math session, we engage with the children through various activities such as playing with toys, drawing, or even playing badminton.

We prioritize the children's comfort and adapt our activities to their pace and interests.

Schedule

We will provide an orientation and explanation of the volunteering activities.
2:50 PM: Move to KOYA
3:00 PM: Volunteering start
4:00 PM: End of the activity

Pico Math KOYAとは？
Pico Math KOYAは、計算ゲーム機「ピコトレ（PICO TORE）」を使って、子どもたちの成長を支援するボランティア活動です。最新のデバイスで楽しみながら、子どもたちの思考力や基礎学力を向上させることを目的としています。

活動場所：KOYAについて
この活動は、子どもたちのためのコミュニティスペース「KOYA」で行われます。KOYAはおもちゃや絵本が揃った、子どもたちが安心して遊び、学べる場所です。Pico Math KOYAは、このKOYAが展開するプロジェクトの一つです。

活動内容
私たちの活動は、一方的に教える「塾」のような形式ではなく、子どもたちの自主性を尊重した柔軟で楽しい時間を大切にしています。

• 算数タイム： 約30分ほど子どもたちがピコトレを使って計算ゲームに挑戦します。ボランティアの皆さんは、正答数の記録をつけたり、活動中の様子を写真に収めるサポートをお願いします。
• 遊びの時間： 算数の後は、おもちゃ遊び、お絵描き、バドミントンなど、子どもたちの興味に合わせて一緒に楽しく過ごします。

私たちは子どもたちの心地よさを第一に考え、それぞれのペースや興味に合わせたサポートを心がけています。

スケジュール

ボランティア活動の内容説明とオリエンテーションを行います。
14:50: KOYAへ移動
15:00: ボランティア活動開始
