In the footsteps of the Templars

Join us for a gentle city stroll and let’s step into medieval London on this guided walking tour exploring the real history of the Knights Templar — beyond the legends, secrets, and conspiracy theories.
Beginning near the old northern edge of the City and ending at the atmospheric Temple Church, the tour follows the physical traces left behind by one of the most powerful and misunderstood medieval orders.
Along the way, we’ll visit surviving churches, hidden precincts, and streets that still reflect the Templars’ presence, as well as places linked to their close rivals and neighbours, the Knights Hospitaller. You’ll discover how these orders lived, worshipped, managed wealth, and shaped the city — and why their influence can still be felt in London’s layout today. The tour concludes at Temple Church, the most important Templar site in Britain and one of London’s most striking medieval interiors.
