Ramiro Serrano and Jay Zak will be giving a talk about how to create an augmented reality application using Unity.

Parking is free and should be in Lot 8. Lot 13 will be open if you can’t get into lot 8.

About Ramiro & Jason:

Ramiro is a system engineer. He has a Master's degree in Computer Science of Andes University from Colombia but also he received a Specialisation degree in Media Creation. He was a researcher for 2 years in the Visual Computing Group IMAGIN at Andes University. He was also a Junior researcher in the Center for Innovation and Development of Research in software engineering CIDLIS-Colombia. In addition, Ramiro has industry experience with virtual reality, augmented reality and interactive media. After he finished his Master's degree, Ramiro taught as a professor Interactive Simulations and Interfaces & Tools for interactive media for 2 years. Before coming to UALR he worked for Wise In Media as a developer for video games and interactive applications in the private sector.

Jason Zak is a Lead Artist at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He has received two Bachelors of Arts degrees one from The Art Institute of Phoenix in Game Art & Design and the other from New York Institute of Technology in Computer Animation. He has had the privilege of developing games over 10 years in the game industry for multiple projects and platforms such as browser based games, XBox Live, PC downloadable, Nintendo Wii & DS, IOS and Android systems.
