This group is a warm, inclusive community designed for moms and dads on maternity or paternity leave who want to get out, stay active, and connect with others navigating the beautiful (and sometimes isolating) journey of early parenthood.
Whether you are a newly arrived expat, a long-time resident, or a local parent, this is a space to share experiences, exchange tips about raising kids in Switzerland, and build real, lifelong friendships while our little ones come along for the ride.🚶♀️
Before becoming a mom, I loved organizing walking groups around this beautiful city. Now, I’m bringing that passion back—with strollers in tow!
Our main activities will include:
Weekly Stroller Walks: Casual, easy-paced walks through Basel's beautiful parks, along the Rhine, and through baby-friendly paths.
Coffee & Chat Stops: Grabbing a warm drink or finding a nice patch of grass for a casual picnic where our babies can stretch out.
Support & Networking: A relaxed environment to speak English (and practice German!), ask questions, and share recommendations about local pediatricians, childcare, and baby activities.👋
Who Should Join?Parents currently on maternal or paternal leave looking to build a local support system.
Anyone with newborns, infants, or toddlers who wants to get some fresh air and adult conversation!
