In this workshop, you will gain real-world knowledge and insights as well as learn practical tools to reduce mental, emotional and physical symptoms associated with the demands of living busy modern-day lives.
My aim in offering this workshop is to help destigmatise the emotional upheavals that life brings all of us - whether it be in business, career or in our personal life.
The truth is, there is nothing wrong with feeling emotions - it's human and completely normal.
It's only when those emotions get the better of us that we struggle to find our way out of the uncomfortableness and stuckness of it all.
For me, building a business from scratch with no prior business experience, overseeing cashflow and financing issues in a rapidly growing company as well as managing staff and remote-interstate teams meant that yes - I absolutely experienced periods of anxiety and stress over the years.
It's all completely normal (but not comfortable) as we grow into the person that we want to become - and yet so many fear sharing what it's really like as they walk the journey of life.
So, how best to deal with all of these emotions?
It's a choice that we all have to make every single day...
Some may choose denial and emotional shutdown, for others it might be drugs, alcohol, workaholism, emotional eating or some other coping mechanism.
Whilst some strategies are clearly better for us than others, it is our personal choices that power the journey of our lives and who we become.
That's where courage, choice and change become the stepping stones of our journey.
Learning to harness the emotions that we are experiencing is when we begin to find our own inner power, strength and resilience - allowing us to better manage and overcome the obstacles that the world is continually throwing our way.
Our life journey is a uniquely personal one but one that we don't need to struggle alone with, especially in times of upheaval, pain and confusion.
