Speed Dating (Over 30s)

It's time to stop swiping on dating apps - now you can meet other singles face-to-face, for a one-to-one date, in a friendly, local setting!

For tickets & more info go to: Speed dating tickets. There is an online booking discount - tickets are £10 + booking fee. Entry is £15 on the door. Places are limited. It is advisable to pre-book to guarantee your place on the night and get the best price.

Arrival time
Participants should arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time to complete registration and settle in. Late arrivals may be denied entry.

Dress code
Smart-casual – no trainers or hoodies.

Event registration
Before the event starts, participants will be asked to provide accurate personal details (name, age, phone number and/or email address) during booking. Misrepresentation may lead to refusal of entry. Tickets are non-transferrable. Each participant will be given a match card to record the names of each new date and to indicate if the date was a match.

Event structure
Participants will be split into male and female groups based on the chosen gender identity of participants. Non-binary participants may be placed in either group. Each group participant will have the opportunity to date person in the opposite group for 5-10 minutes (depending on the number of participants) in a rotation system. There will be a 10-minute break half way through the event.

Behavioral conduct expectations
Participants must not harass, discriminate against, or act inappropriately towards any other participants or the organisers. Participants must provide their actual age and confirm that they are single. Participants should exercise caution when interacting with others, just as they would in any other social setting. The organisers reserve the right to eject anyone violating behavioral conduct expectation, without refund.

After the event
Participants will have 15 minutes to submitted their match card. Any participants who mutually match will be informed by email, and provided the contact details for matches, within 72 hours.

Liability limitations
Speed dating is a platform for meeting people, but it's not a matchmaking service with guarantees. The event host and venue do not guarantee that any participants will match or form a connection. Attendees should understand that they might not find a match during the event.
The event organisers are not responsible for:
· Any damages, injuries, emotional distress, or losses that may occur during or as a result of the event. This includes damages arising from interactions with other participants, personal conduct, or lost or damaged personal belongings.
· Any relationships formed through the event.
· Refusal of entry due to dress code.
· Accuracy of participants’ personal information.

Refund and cancellation policy
Tickets are non-refundable except for event cancellations by the organisers. The event may be cancelled at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, lack of attendees) – including on the night of the event.

Data protection
Data provided will be held in compliance with UK GDPR. Participant data will be used only for speed dating matching arising from the individual event attended unless participants agree to join a mailing list. Event organisers do not collect personal data without consent. Personal data will be stored securely and will only be shared with consent.
