Picnic and Contra Dance on Sept. 12th! Anna Rain calls to Glen Echo Open Band!

JOIN US FOR A PRE-DANCE PICNIC AND THEN THE CONTRA DANCE ON
FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 12, 2025!!

For the picnic, we'll meet at the picnic tables in front of the Spanish Ballroom on September 12th, 6:45-7:45 pm. Of course folks are welcome to arrive earlier or later. Bring your own meal, or if you want to, feel free to bring things to share. We'll announce any weather changes or cancellations on social media and the email list.

After the picnic, plan to join in the fun as we enjoy the wonderful sounds of The Fabulous Glen Echo Open Band (Led by Bobby LaRose (mandolin)) who will bring their exciting, engergetic dancing tunes to the Spanish Ballroom for the Friday Night Dance. Our caller, Anna Rain will bring us an evening of delightful dancing fun. Don't miss this fun-filled evening!

Tickets are $15. Purchase tickets at here or pay at the door.

The admission price includes the lesson at 7:30 p.m.

Dance from 8 to 11 p.m.

You can register and pay online in advance, which is faster. You may also pay at the door with cash and credit cards. You have the ability to cancel registrations prior to the event, and any payment will be refunded as a credit for future use. No refunds will be available after the event has started.
