Fanny Lumsden + Band: "Kick Arse Alt-country with a Whole Lot of Heart" // £23
Details
Australian Fanny Lumsden is an established Alt-Country singer with a full band. They have released several albums, and won the ARIA award for the Best Country Album.
I would personally put their sound into the Americana/Country/Folk category, but have a listen and decide for yourself. You will need to buy your own ticket.

START TIME
The music will likely start at 19:30 but I recommend arriving 18:45/19:00 in order to get a seat. I will wait outside the venue at 18:45 but will enter at 19:00 - I will write updates on this event on the day (please see the comments section on this event).
SEATING & VENUE
The seats won't be allocated, so it's about us turning up early and grabbing a bench if we want to be together/in the same area. The Holywell Music Room is a lovely space and many musicians perform acoustically - i.e. no amplification required.
Built in 1748, the Holywell Music Room is said to be the oldest purpose-built music room in Europe, and hence Britain's first concert hall.
MEETING UP
Given that this is a week day, I recommend we meet at the venue. Look out for comments on this event for updates regarding this.
I will wait outside the Holywell Music Room at 18:45, but at 19:00 will enter and find a bench. I will add a comment onto the event to explain where I am sat and what I am wearing.
We could possibly have a post gig drink in the Kings Arms pub if people would like to.
Ed.
