Hike through historic Hoover Dam Train Tunnels

Hike: Flat terrain, hard dirt, approx. 5-6 miles. Gorgeous views of Lake Mead! It is a there-and-back hike with no turns.

Date: Sunday Feb. 22 , 2026 , Will be DEPARTING TRAILHEAD between 8:15am and 8:30 AM PROMPTLY. If you are late you'll have to catch up with group.

Directions; I-215 WEST TO I-11 south, Left on 93 business, left on lakeshore dr. Just past the visitor center, Trailhead on right, has outhouse toilet. If you are having problems with directions call me at 310-292-2010.

Carpools: It is common courtesy for all passengers to donate $10 to the driver. We will need carpool drivers; we will coordinate carpools next to Chase Bank at Anthem Village. Same place we meet on Saturday hikes. 2585 Anthem Village dr. Henderson 89052 get there early since carpools will depart at 7:30 am promptly.
Highly recommend carpools due to tight parking at the trailhead

After the hike, we will have lunch at Hemeway Park/ Bighorn Park. Hopefull,y big horn sheep will be grazing on the grass next to our picnic table.

Everyone bring their own lunch. If you want to bring other potluck stuff. You are welcome to do so. I will be bringing two large apple pies so I encourage you to bring and that’s just your lunch but also potluck stuff for everybody to share.
