In this event we'll tidy up our 1.6 mile adopted route in the northern Juanita neighborhood of Kirkland.
Round trip, we will walk 2.6 miles at a slow pace. The entire route is relatively flat. For a segment of the route, some may choose to pick up litter on a stretch of shoulder with no sidewalk, but others will remain on paved sidewalk, bike lanes, or crosswalks for the entire route.
We'll meet in the parking lot of Starbucks at 13325 100th Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98034.
All equipment will be provided. We'll have vests, pickers, gloves, garbage bags, and City of Kirkland Volunteer Liability forms for everyone.
